The Libero suits people who do not want to commit to a fixed roof. Fold it back for full sun on a fine day, draw it across for shade or to sit out through rain, and open it again when the weather clears. It is the most flexible veranda in the range.

Concealed drainage keeps the look tidy, and integrated lighting makes it a comfortable spot for evening meals under cover over a dining set or seating area.

The Libero can be self-assembled. It arrives as a kit with all the fixings and instructions, and the folding fabric roof and the drainage through the posts need setting up correctly. If you would rather not do it yourself, our approved network can fit it for you.

Either way you need a solid, level base such as concrete or block paving, plus clear access for the materials. Have a power supply nearby for the LED lighting. Whether you build it yourself or we fit it, set aside about one to two days depending on size and layout.

Brush loose debris off the fabric roof and let it dry before folding it away, since packing it damp encourages marks and mildew. Clean the fabric with a soft brush and mild soapy water, never a harsh solvent.

Wash the powder-coated aluminium frame with warm soapy water a few times a year. Keep the folding tracks clear of grit so the roof runs smoothly and the motor, where fitted, is not strained.

Check the concealed drainage in the posts each season and clear any blockage, as this hidden route is easy to overlook but essential to keeping run-off flowing.

The aluminium frame is covered for 5 years against paint defects such as peeling, blistering or premature deterioration under normal use. The integrated LED lighting and any roof motor are covered for 2 years.

In coastal, high-moisture or chemical environments the paint cover reduces to 2 years. The warranty applies to normal residential use and excludes misuse, lack of maintenance, storm or snow damage beyond specification, and unauthorised modification.

The Libero is made to order. Stocked sizes are dispatched in around 7 days, while made-to-order configurations take roughly 14 to 16 days to build.

Once it is ready, we deliver it to you to assemble, or our approved network arranges a fitting date to suit you. Have the base laid and access clear beforehand, plus a power supply ready near the veranda for the LED lighting.

Aluminium Folding Roof Veranda | The Libero | Retractable Waterproof Fabric Roof | Integrated LED | Concealed Drainage Through Posts

Open sky freedom

The Libero does something no other structure in the range can do. The fabric roof opens completely, rolling back to give the terrace a direct, unobstructed view of the sky. Then when the weather changes, it closes. One press of the remote. The canvas moves silently along the rail, carried by a six-wheel system that keeps the movement smooth and balanced in both directions. When it closes, it closes properly.

The canvas is fully waterproof. Wind cannot get in at the edges because the gutter is fitted with an anti-draught system that seals the gap between the fabric, the rails and the gutter profile. Rain does not drip from the front overhang. An integrated drainage system routes water down through the uprights invisibly, so the ground stays dry and the exterior stays clean. The fixings are stainless steel, concealed throughout. Nothing interrupts the finish.

Dimmable LED lighting is built directly into the beams as standard. Not surface-mounted. Not retrofitted. Built in, so the light sits where the structure sits and the effect is clean rather than improvised. The same remote that operates the canvas operates the lighting.

The whole structure is grey aluminium with a white canvas. Sliding glass doors can be added to enclose the sides, extending the season and turning the terrace into a proper outdoor room. The Libero is for anyone who wants a covered outdoor space that genuinely opens when it should and genuinely protects when it has to.

Close

Open roof, closed roof

Fold the fabric roof back for open sky, or draw it across for cover when the weather turns. You are not stuck with a fixed roof; the space changes to suit the day.

Full sun on demand

Retract the roof completely and let the terrace bask in direct sunshine. Then close it over for shade or shelter later, keeping the choice entirely in your hands.

Dry when it rains

Draw the waterproof fabric across and sit out through a shower in comfort. The roof sheds water and carries it away, so a grey spell does not send you back indoors.

Evenings under cover

Integrated LED lights the space after dark, so closing the roof over a summer evening keeps dinner going. Soft light above, shelter overhead, the garden around you.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Libero has a retractable fabric roof that folds back along the frame. Open it fully for clear sky, or draw it across for shade and shelter. It gives a genuine choice between an open terrace and a covered one, which a fixed roof cannot.

Yes, the roof fabric is waterproof, so with it drawn across you can sit out in the rain and stay dry. Water runs off the tensioned fabric and is carried away through the drainage built into the posts.

Drainage is concealed within the posts, so run-off is carried down out of sight rather than spilling off a visible gutter. This keeps the look clean and directs water neatly to ground level.

In severe weather it is sensible to open the fabric roof so wind and snow load are not held against it. A retracted roof rides out a storm better, and this suits changeable British conditions well.

With the roof retracted in the worst weather and an occasional clean, the fabric lasts for years. Because it is a tensioned cover rather than a fixed panel, it can be serviced or replaced in future without rebuilding the frame.
