Opal diffuses the light and gives privacy with it. Clear keeps the view and the most light. Ultra-clear is the closest to glass. All three are 16mm multiwall, so the choice is about light and privacy rather than strength.

Polycarbonate is lighter and far harder to break, and 16mm multiwall insulates better. Glass is clearer and heavier. Both close a side properly against the weather.
