The Scudo suits plots where a wall-mounted carport is not an option. Standing on its own posts, it can be sited mid-drive, in a courtyard or set apart from the house, wherever the parking actually needs to be.
The concealed rear drainage makes it a tidy neighbour along a boundary, and its standalone nature means it shelters the car without touching or altering the building itself.
The Scudo can be self-assembled. It arrives as a kit with all the fixings and instructions, and it stands on its own posts, so the base and anchoring need to be spot on. If you would rather not do it yourself, our approved network can fit it for you.
Either way you need a solid, level base such as concrete or block paving, plus clear access for the materials. Whether you build it yourself or we fit it, set aside about one to two days depending on size and ground conditions.
Wash the powder-coated aluminium frame and posts with warm soapy water two or three times a year. As the Scudo often stands in the open, it can pick up more airborne dirt and pollen, so an extra wash in spring keeps it fresh.
Check the concealed rear drainage as well as the gutters. Because this run-off is routed out of sight, it is easy to forget, so clear any debris each season to keep it flowing freely.
Keep abrasive pads and harsh solvents away from the coating, and dry the frame after washing to avoid water marks on an exposed structure.
The aluminium frame is covered for 5 years against paint defects such as peeling, blistering or premature deterioration in normal use. Any integrated lighting is covered for 2 years.
In coastal, high-moisture or chemical environments the paint cover reduces to 2 years. The warranty is for normal residential use and excludes misuse, lack of maintenance, storm or snow damage beyond specification, and unauthorised modification.
The Scudo is made to order. Stocked sizes are dispatched in around 7 days, while made-to-order configurations take roughly 14 to 16 days to build.
Once it is ready, we deliver it to you to assemble, or our approved network arranges a fitting date to suit you. Have the base laid and access clear beforehand.
