The Aperto has a solid roof that slides open and closed, rather than tilting blades. Retract it fully for open sky, or close it for a continuous, weather-shedding roof. It suits people who want a clear choice between covered and open rather than adjustable shade.

Is the Aperto roof fully waterproof when closed?

With the panels closed the roof forms a continuous surface, with the joints gasketed so rainwater is carried to the gutter and the space below stays dry in normal British weather. Open it again when the weather clears for an uncovered terrace.

How do you operate the Aperto's retractable roof?

The roof is motorised and driven from a handset, so it opens and closes smoothly without any manual effort. This makes it easy to react to changing weather, and a nearby power supply is needed for the motor and lighting.
