The Aperto gives complete control over light, shade, airflow and shelter. A louvred aluminium roof adjusts at the push of a button, from fully open to completely sealed against rain. The range runs from a tilting louvre model through to a fully retractable roof that opens the sky above the terrace completely. Wall-mounted or freestanding, with glass enclosure options available throughout.

The Aperto suits anyone who wants the best of both worlds, a weatherproof covered terrace and an open-air one, in a single structure. Slide the roof shut against rain or midday sun, then retract it for open sky on a fine evening.
With integrated lighting it works well over an outdoor dining table or lounge, making it a genuine outdoor room that can open right up whenever the weather allows.
The Aperto can be self-assembled. It arrives as a kit with all the fixings and instructions, and the motorised roof mechanism needs setting up carefully. If you would rather not do it yourself, our approved network can fit it for you.
Either way you need a solid, level base such as concrete or block paving, plus clear access for the materials. Have a power supply nearby for the motor and LED lighting. Whether you build it yourself or we fit it, set aside about one to two days depending on size and roof options.
Wash the powder-coated aluminium frame with warm soapy water a few times a year. Wipe down the roof panels while closed, then rinse the frame and dry it to keep the finish sharp.
Keep the sliding tracks clear of leaves and grit so the panels glide freely. This is the main upkeep on the Aperto; a clogged track is the usual cause of a sticky roof, so a quick clean prevents strain on the motor.
Clear the gutter and drainage each season so water runs off properly when the roof is closed. Have the motor mechanism checked if you ever notice uneven movement.
The aluminium frame is covered for 5 years against paint defects such as peeling, blistering or premature deterioration under normal use. The roof motor and integrated LED lighting are covered for 2 years.
Coastal, high-moisture and chemical environments reduce paint cover to 2 years. The warranty is for normal residential use and excludes misuse, neglect, storm or snow damage beyond specification, and unauthorised modification of the drive system.
The Aperto is made to order. Stocked sizes are dispatched in around 7 days, while made-to-order configurations take roughly 14 to 16 days to build.
Once it is ready, we deliver it to you to assemble, or our approved network arranges a fitting date to suit you. Have the base laid and access clear beforehand, plus a power supply ready near the pergola for the motor and LED lighting.
