The Pigato is fitted by Roma Verandas' approved installer network. A solid, level base and clear access for materials are needed beforehand. Installation typically takes one to two days depending on span.
Wipe the powder-coated aluminium frame down with mild soapy water every few months to keep the finish looking sharp, and clean any toughened glass with a soft cloth rather than anything abrasive that could mark the surface. Clear gutters and drainage channels regularly so rainwater runs off properly instead of pooling against the frame, which is what causes most premature paint wear on structures like the Pigato. Periodically check moving parts, seals and drainage channels for wear, and for the Pigato specifically, clear the reinforced gutter regularly since it is doing more structural work than a standard one. These are simple checks that take a few minutes but catch small issues before they become bigger ones. This kind of routine inspection matters more for the Pigato than it might for a simpler structure, given the mechanism involved in how it operates. Before winter, clear leaves and debris away from the structure and check that fixings are still tight, since a loose fixing left through a wet winter tends to work itself looser rather than settling. After winter, look over the frame for any chips or scratches in the paint that could let moisture in, and address them promptly rather than leaving them to spread. Skipping this routine cleaning is the single biggest reason a paint finish wears faster than the warranty period would suggest it should.
The aluminium frame is covered by a 5 year warranty against paint defects such as peeling, blistering or premature deterioration under normal use. In coastal, high-moisture or chemical environments the paint warranty is reduced to 2 years due to accelerated wear. Cover applies under normal residential use and excludes misuse, lack of maintenance, storm or snow damage beyond specification, and unauthorised modification.
Aluminium Veranda is built to order. In stock items are dispatched within 7 days. Out of stock or made-to-order items take 14–16 days. Once ready, our installer network will contact you directly to confirm a fitting date; please have a solid, level base and clear access in place beforehand, along with a nearby power supply if the product is motorised.

Aluminium Veranda | Deponti Pigato | Wide Span Up To 7m | Extra-Large Gutter | Glass Roof

About this veranda

The Pigato is built around one idea. The less structure you see, the better it looks. A reinforced gutter profile carries the roof across wide open spans without extra posts breaking up the view. The space beneath stays clear. The frontage stays open. The garden stays visible from inside the house.

The range starts with the polycarbonate roof. Available in opal, clear, ultra clear or solar control, it is a practical, durable covering that handles everything the British weather throws at it without fuss. The standard version spans up to six metres on just two posts. Step up to the wide span version and that increases to seven metres, still on two posts, through a larger reinforced gutter profile. Seven metres of clear, uninterrupted covered space with nothing in the way.

The glass versions take the same principle and raise the finish. A laminated safety glass roof lets the light through clean, without the yellowing or hazing that polycarbonate can develop over time. The standard glass model spans up to six metres on two posts. The wide span glass version reaches seven metres. Same open, uncluttered result. Sharper overhead.

Round or classic gutters, square or half-round posts, four RAL colours across all four variants. LED lighting, side walls and panels are available as optional additions throughout. The Pigato suits anyone who wants a veranda that prioritises view, light and open space, and does not compromise on any of them.
