The structure is only half of what you are buying. The other half is who measures it, who fits it and who picks up the phone afterwards. We have spent a good part of this year deciding how we want to do those things, and it is time to set it out plainly.
In short: close to home, we now do everything ourselves. Further afield, we have built better ways of helping you from a distance.
Installed by Us, Not Passed On
Across Leicestershire and the surrounding area we now design, supply and install with our own hands. We do not hand your project to a third party. The people who measure your wall are the people who fit your veranda, and the people you ring if you have a question a year later.
We made that choice deliberately. Getting the falls, the drainage, the glazing and the fixings right first time depends on knowing the product inside out, and the only way we can be certain of the standard is to do the work ourselves.
We are based in Queniborough and cover the whole of Leicestershire, including Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Hinckley and Coalville, along with Rutland and nearby parts of Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.
How It Works Locally
It begins with a free design visit. We come to your home, measure up, look at the wall, the ground and the drainage, and talk through what will suit the space. You then receive a clear quote with no obligation. Once you are happy, your structure is ordered to your sizes and an installation date is agreed. On the day we fit everything, tidy up, and walk you through it before we leave.
Most verandas and pergolas, whether a glass-roofed Pigato or a louvred Pinela Tilt, are installed in one to two days. Larger glass rooms, such as an Ultraline Classic with sliding walls all round, take a little longer.
Further Afield
We deliver across England, Wales and Scotland. Outside our installation area, structures are supplied for self-installation or for fitting by a tradesperson of your choice, and you are not left to get on with it. Every system comes with detailed assembly instructions and installation videos, and we are on the phone, on live chat or on a WhatsApp video call if you want us to look at something with you.
Virtual Showroom Tours and Appointments
The other change is in how you see the products before you buy. With several ranges now on offer, where we show you a structure in person depends on which one you are interested in, so showroom visits are arranged by appointment and we will point you to the right place for the range you have in mind.
If travelling is not practical, you can book a virtual showroom tour instead. It is a video call in which we walk you round the structures on display so you can see the posts, the gutters, the glass and the way a set of glass sliding doors runs on its tracks, and ask us to go back and look at anything again.
There is also a virtual home appointment, which works the other way round. You show us your space on a video call, and we talk through sizes, models and options there and then. A good many customers have settled on a design this way without either of us getting in a car, including for products such as a retractable awning where the main questions are width, height and which way the wall faces.
Why We Have Done It This Way
Because both halves matter. If you are near us, you should have one team responsible from first visit to final fixing. If you are not, you should still be able to see what you are buying and speak to someone who knows it properly. That is now how we work.
