MB Aluminium Joins Roma: Verandas, Pergolas and Everything Around Them

A new veranda has a habit of showing up everything around it. The structure goes in looking sharp and precise, and suddenly the fence beside it looks tired, the side gate does not match and the old balustrade on the raised patio belongs to a different decade.

Our newest range is the answer to that. MB Aluminium, from Eindhoven in the Netherlands, has joined us this month, and what sets it apart is how much of the garden it can take care of in one go.

Verandas and Garden Rooms

The core of the range is a family of aluminium verandas with a strong, squared-off look. The Cube Grand is the flagship and the one that will catch most eyes: a flat roofline, posts a full 25 centimetres wide, and a glass roof in clear, opal or tinted glass. It is cut and built to size, and it takes sliding glass walls and screens on every side to become a proper garden room. Other models in the family offer polycarbonate roofs as well, and the frames come in white, grey metallic, anthracite and black.

Louvred Pergolas

Alongside the verandas is a set of pergolas with adjustable louvred roofs. The Prime and its sister models give you the same control over sun, shade and rain that makes a louvred roof so useful in our climate, with the option of screens and sliding glass to close in the sides when the season turns.

The Parts Around the Structure

This is where MB is different from anything else we offer. The same manufacturer makes stackable aluminium fencing with matching gates, glass balustrades for raised patios and balconies, aluminium doors and windows, roller shutters and facade cladding.

Inside the structure the options run just as deep: sliding glass walls, a motorised glass system that rises and lowers at the press of a button, zip screens, sun shading, LED lighting and infrared heaters.

For you, that means one finish and one standard of engineering across the whole project. The fence matches the veranda. The gate matches the fence. The balustrade along the terrace has the same clean base profile as everything else. Nothing needs painting or treating, and it will look the same in ten years as it does on the day it goes in.

Made Quickly

MB manufactures to order, and typical lead times are three to four weeks. For a made-to-measure aluminium structure that is brisk, and it matters if you are trying to get a project finished before a particular date.

Where It Sits in the Range

With MB added, the picture we set out to build at the start of the year is close to complete. Awnings for shade. Verandas and louvred pergolas for shelter. Glass rooms for year-round living. And now the boundaries, doors and details that tie a garden together.

It also gives us more ways to meet a budget or a deadline. Where one range has the right look but the wrong lead time, another may have both.

A Factory Visit Is Coming

As with every range we take on, we want to see it made. We will be visiting the MB factory shortly, and we will share what we find on our social channels, so follow along if you would like to see how these structures come together.

In the meantime, if you are planning a veranda and the fence or gate beside it has been on your list for a while, tell us. It is far easier to design them together than to match them up afterwards.
