We do not make a habit of talking about price in these posts, but this one is worth knowing about in advance. This Black Friday we are taking 5% off everything on the site, and it comes just before prices go up in January.
Put those two facts together and late November becomes the best-value moment of the year to order an outdoor structure. Five per cent sounds modest until you apply it to a glass room, and the gap to January pricing is wider still. Here is how to make sure you are in a position to use it.
Why Prices Rise in January
Manufacturers review their price lists at the turn of the year. Aluminium, glass, freight and labour all feed into those lists, and in recent years they have moved in one direction. When our suppliers' prices change, ours have to follow. That is not a sales line. It is simply how the calendar works in this trade.
Why You Cannot Leave It to the Day
A veranda is not a television. You cannot decide on the Friday morning and check out by lunchtime, because the right structure depends on measurements, on what the posts will stand on, on where the water will go and on which model actually suits the wall.
The people who do well out of a sale like this are the ones who arrive with those questions already answered. If you know that you want, say, a glass-roofed Pigato at a given width with sliding doors along the front, you can act when the offer opens. If you are still working out whether you want a veranda or a pergola, the sale will have ended before you finish.
What to Do Between Now and Then
First, get measured. If you are in Leicestershire or nearby, book a free design visit and we will come to you. Anywhere else, book a virtual appointment and show us the space on a video call. Either way you will end up with a specification and a quote in hand.
Second, decide what stage you are at. Shade over the doors from an awning such as the Cassita II is a different project from a louvred pergola such as the Prime, and different again from a full glass room such as the Ultraline Style. Knowing which you want narrows everything else.
Third, think about extras now. A set of glass sliding doors, LED lighting, screens and heating are all easier and tidier to include in the original order than to add later.
Why Autumn Is the Right Time Anyway
There is a practical argument for ordering now that has nothing to do with price. Everyone remembers they want a veranda on the first warm weekend of spring, and that is precisely when lead times stretch and diaries fill. Order in the autumn and your structure is in place before the season starts, so you have the whole of next year to use it.
It also happens that a covered, lit and heated space is at its most useful from October to March, which is the half of the year a bare patio gives you nothing at all.
How to Hear About It First
The details of the offer will go to our Roma VIP list before they appear anywhere else. Signing up is free and takes a moment from the home page. If you would rather simply talk it through, get in touch and we will make sure your quote is ready in good time.
