Yes. The warm-white LED ring and the heating element are controlled independently, so the Eclipse works as a straightforward pendant light through the summer and as a heater and light through the colder months. The LED is dimmable across its full range.

Minimum clearance from the underside of the heater to the finished floor is 2000mm. With the supplied twin pole you will want a finished ceiling height of around 2.4m or more. For higher ceilings, longer poles bring the fitting down to where the heat and light are useful.

It is best in a covered or substantially sheltered space. It needs a ceiling to mount to, and radiant heat from a downward-facing fitting is more affected by cross-wind than a directional wall heater. Under a veranda, pergola with a solid roof or covered terrace it performs exactly as intended.

This version is ceiling mounted on a twin pole and hard wired; the Portable version puts the same head on a curved arm and a weighted 145kg mobile base, plugs in, and comes with a dimmer control and remote. Choose fixed if the space is permanent, portable if you need to move the heat around.
