Tungsten Smart-Heat Gas adds months of usable evenings to your outdoor space, from £1,625 with free delivery included.

High-output gas heat, aimed where you want it

The Tungsten Gas delivers exactly the same 25MJ and 42MJ outputs as the Platinum Gas, in a lower and wider matte black body that costs less. Where the two genuinely differ is in how they distribute the heat.

The Tungsten's honeycomb fascia collimates the output so it arrives where the heater is pointed rather than spreading across the whole terrace, and the easy pivot arm lets you aim it at the seating and re-aim it when the furniture moves. On a large or awkwardly shaped terrace that control is worth more than even coverage.

42MJ covering approximately 20m2

Honeycomb fascia, easy pivot arm, patented wind resistance, matte black stainless steel

Easy Pivot Arm

Adjust the angle by hand to move the warmth onto the seating, and change it again when the layout does.

2-Year Warranty

Every Bromic heater is supplied with a full 2 year manufacturer's warranty, handled by us here in the UK.

Up to 42MJ Output

The 500 Series covers roughly 20m2 - identical output to the Platinum Gas, for less.

Explore Tungsten Smart-Heat Gas

Easy pivot arm for hand-adjustable directional heat, with wall, ceiling and ceiling-pole mounting all supported.

Honeycomb fascia collimates the radiant output so the heat lands where the heater is aimed rather than dispersing sideways.

Patented wind-resistant burner design, tested to keep performing on exposed frontages.

Add a series-matched heat deflector where the veranda roof sits low, to reduce the clearance needed above the heater and throw the warmth further forward.

Upgrade your space

Choose how much sun you let in. Clear glass keeps things bright through grey British winters, while solar-control glazing takes the sting out of July afternoons. Both keep the rain off, so the patio stays usable all year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Output is identical - 25MJ and 42MJ from the 300 and 500 Series in both ranges. The Platinum has a ceramic fascia that spreads heat evenly and a taller, more refined body in premium stainless steel. The Tungsten has a honeycomb fascia that focuses heat directionally, a lower and wider matte black body, and a lower price. Neither is better; they suit different priorities.

No. The injector differs - 1.20mm for natural gas, 0.82mm for LPG - and is fitted at the factory. Order the model that matches your supply. Running a gas appliance on the wrong gas type is dangerous and voids the warranty.

No. Like all Bromic gas heaters it is an on/off appliance. An Affinity on/off controller will switch up to ten gas heaters per channel so you can zone and schedule a large terrace, but the output within a zone is either full or off.

The 500 Series covers roughly a 5m x 4m area, about 20m2. The 300 Series covers roughly 4m x 3m, about 15m2. Those figures assume a sheltered installation at the recommended height - on an open frontage you will feel the heat over a smaller area, which is where the pivot arm helps by concentrating it on the seating.

Not always. It is worth adding when the heater is mounted under a lower veranda roof, because it reduces the clearance needed above the unit, or where you want the heat projected further forward rather than downward. Deflectors are series-specific, so order the 300 or 500 to match.

How do we get you heated?

  1. 1

    Tell us the space

Tell us the size of the area, how it is covered, and whether you have power or gas available. A couple of minutes on the phone or a few photos is usually all we need to get started.

  2. 2

    We spec it properly

We work out the output and the number of heaters your space actually needs, then confirm the mounting method, the controller and any clearances your ceiling height dictates.

  3. 3

    Fitted and tested

Your electrician or Gas Safe engineer installs to the Bromic clearances, we commission the controller with you, and you get a heater that works properly rather than one that merely fits.
