The Cascina is the veranda for gardens that are not a simple rectangle. Interlinking sections follow an L-shaped terrace, run the length of the house or cover a large outdoor room, and the choice of roof and post styles lets it match the property rather than clash with it.

It is also the sensible choice when you might extend later, since the run can grow section by section without starting again.

The Cascina can be self-assembled. It arrives as a kit with all the fixings and instructions, and linking the sections needs accurate setting-out. If you would rather not do it yourself, our approved network can fit it for you.

Either way you need a solid, level base such as concrete or block paving, plus clear access for the materials. If you add integrated lighting, have a power supply nearby. Whether you build it yourself or we fit it, set aside about one to two days depending on how many sections you link.

Wash the powder-coated aluminium frame and posts with warm soapy water a few times a year. On a linked configuration, pay attention to the joints between sections where dirt can gather, and rinse everything down afterwards.

Clean the roof panels to suit their material and keep the valleys where sections meet clear of leaves, so water is never held on the structure. Use a soft brush rather than anything abrasive.

Check the gutters and drainage across the whole run each season. A larger, linked veranda has more channels to keep clear, and free-flowing drainage is what keeps the frame sound.

The aluminium frame carries a 5 year warranty against paint defects such as peeling, blistering or premature deterioration under normal use. Any integrated lighting is covered for 2 years.

Coastal, high-moisture and chemical environments reduce paint cover to 2 years. The warranty applies to normal residential use and excludes misuse, neglect, storm or snow damage beyond specification, and unauthorised modification to the configuration.

The Cascina is made to order. Stocked sizes are dispatched in around 7 days, while made-to-order configurations take roughly 14 to 16 days to build.

Once it is ready, we deliver it to you to assemble, or our approved network arranges a fitting date to suit you. Have the base laid and access clear beforehand, plus a power supply nearby if you have added integrated lighting.

Aluminium Veranda | The Cascina | Modular Interlinkable | Multiple Roof & Post Styles

Built for your garden

The Cascina is the most configurable veranda in the range, and the one most likely to work wherever it is asked to go. A modular interlinkable system means bays can be added to increase the width beyond what a single structure could achieve, while the choice of post styles, gutter profiles and roof options means it can be tailored to suit almost any home, garden or brief. Nothing about it is fixed or limiting — it is designed from the start to adapt.

Wall mounted against the house or completely freestanding in the garden, the Cascina goes wherever the space needs it rather than where the architecture dictates. That freestanding capability changes the conversation entirely for gardens where the best covered spot is not directly behind the house — a pool area, a kitchen garden, a far corner with the best light. The Cascina can go there. Most verandas cannot.

The modular system also means it can grow over time. Start with a single bay and add another later. Change the roof covering. Swap the post style. The structure supports all of it without needing to start again. For anyone who wants a veranda that works around their life rather than the other way round, the Cascina is the obvious choice.

Shape it to fit

Link sections together to follow an L-shaped terrace or a long run along the house. The modular frame fits the garden you have rather than forcing a single fixed rectangle.

Match the property

Choose from different roof and post styles so the veranda reads as part of the house. Get the look right for a cottage or a modern build with the same core system.

Cover a big terrace

Join modules to shelter a generous outdoor room in one continuous structure. Dining at one end, seating at the other, all under a roof that suits the whole layout.

Add on in the future

Start with one section now and extend the run later as plans change. The interlinking design means growing the veranda does not mean starting over.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Cascina is built from sections that interlink, so it can run in a straight line, turn a corner or extend along the house. Rather than a fixed size, you build the layout to fit the terrace you actually have.

The Cascina offers a choice of roof profiles and post designs, agreed at quote stage. This lets the same modular system suit very different homes, from traditional to contemporary, so the veranda looks designed for the property.

Yes. Because sections interlink, further modules can be added to an existing run when your needs change. Planning the base and drainage with future sections in mind at the start makes any later extension much simpler.

Each section drains into the integrated gutter system and away through the posts, with the run planned so water always has somewhere to go. On a larger configuration this is set out at survey to keep every part draining cleanly.

It is one of the best choices for it. The modular design turns corners and follows irregular terraces where a single fixed veranda would not fit, so difficult layouts become straightforward to cover.
