It closes the exposed side of a carport against wind and driving rain, which is the weather a carport roof does nothing about. It is a side element for an existing carport, not a freestanding screen.

Opal diffuses the light and gives privacy with it. Clear keeps the view and the most light. Ultra-clear is the closest to glass. All three are 16mm multiwall, so the choice is about light and privacy rather than strength.

16mm multiwall polycarbonate is much more impact resistant than glass, and the UV-protected outer face keeps it clear for years, so it copes with hail, stray footballs and grit thrown up off the drive. Severe hail or a hard direct strike can still mark a sheet, and single panels can be replaced without taking the wall apart.

Three textured powder-coated finishes: cream, anthracite and jet black, matched to the frames used across the Deponti range so the wall reads as part of the original structure.
