About

A motorised zip-style side screen purpose-built for the Pinela pergola range. A Somfy IO tubular motor drops the anthracite fabric screen cleanly into position, with the zip edges sealing against the side guides to block sun, wind and sightlines in one movement.

Two installation orientations are available — inward facing for the cleanest finish, or external tray to leave space for Fiano rails alongside. Supplied in standard Pinela-matched widths and colours, so it integrates with the structure rather than sitting as an add-on.

About this product

The Roma Cortina is a motorised zip-style side screen purpose-built for the Pinela pergola range. A Somfy IO tubular motor drops the anthracite fabric screen cleanly into position at the touch of a button, with the zip edges sealing against the side guides to block sun, wind and sightlines in a single controlled movement. It is not a generic blind adapted to fit — it is a system designed specifically for this application, which is visible in every detail of how it installs and operates.

Two installation orientations are available depending on the layout of the structure. Inward-facing gives the cleanest possible finish with no visible tray or housing on the outside. External tray orientation leaves space for rails alongside the screen, allowing the Cortina and a glass sliding door system to work together on the same opening. The height can be shortened on site by trimming the side guides, making it adaptable to non-standard heights without ordering a custom size.

Supplied in standard widths and colours matched to the Aperto range, with anthracite fabric on both sides for a consistent appearance from inside and out. For anyone who wants sun, wind and privacy control on the Aperto without compromising the clean, integrated look of the structure, the Roma Cortina is the right solution.
