A flat glass roof for low-clearance walls

The Trebbiano solves a problem that stops many veranda projects before they start. A traditional sloped lean-to needs sufficient clearance above the fixing point to shed water properly, and plenty of houses simply do not have it. The flat-roofed design bypasses that constraint completely.

That makes it compatible with bungalows, extensions and any wall where height is tight, using reinforced 8.8mm thermally strengthened glass with LED integrated as standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

A sloped lean-to needs height at the wall to create its pitch, which many homes don't have beneath their windows. The Trebbiano's flat profile solves that, sitting in low-clearance spots where a pitched roof can't go.

That is exactly what it is designed for. Its low overall height lets it slide in beneath first-floor windows and low eaves without obstructing them, opening up positions where other verandas cannot go.

The roof carries a subtle built-in fall you don't notice, guiding rainwater to the integrated gutter and downpipe. So while it reads as flat, it still drains positively rather than letting water sit.

It uses 8.8mm laminated safety glass, specified for overhead glazing so that it holds together rather than falling clear if it is ever broken. The glazing is a core part of what lets the flat roof stay slim yet strong.

Yes. The frame and glass are specified to carry a snow load for UK conditions, with the drainage sized to clear meltwater. Because the roof is close to flat, we recommend clearing any unusually heavy accumulation rather than leaving it to build up, and we confirm the load figure for your chosen size.
